The compostable films used to produce these cello bags are made from FSC-certified wood cellulose fibers, sourced using sustainable forestry principles.

These compostable cellophane bags are vegan and non-GMO. They do not contain harmful chemicals such as bisphenol (including BPA and over a dozen other derivatives), or phthalates.

Printed with compost symbol and green banner that reads "COMPOSTABLE - Elevate Packaging" on back of bag.

Fold-over bottom seal. Seam on back of bag.
Not tested for weight capacity.

Suitable for sealing with most standard heat sealers.

Not suitable for freezer temperatures, material may become brittle. For freezer use please see our compostable stand-up pouches.

These bags are not suitable for vacuum sealing, and may not provide an air-tight seal when heat-sealed. For vacuum sealing or an air-tight seal please see our compostable stand-up pouches.

Store in original packaging in a cool, dry area. Protect from direct sunlight.

Not intended for constant or regular contact with liquids, creams, or moisture.

Excellent bags for produce

These bags should replace every plastic produce bag at a grocery. They lasted me ~9 months (I am sure I could get 12 months of use from them) and have decent reusability value - I have found that on average I can get 2-3 uses out of 1 bag. Sometimes, if not careful, they can tear so be mindful to not insert any big lettuces or items that appear larger than the circumference of the opening of the bag, there is little forgivability there. Overall excellent product
Green choice for Art and art prints

Im a caricature artist and I went compostable a few years back but I was using the hazy produce style bags that aren't very flattering to the artwork. I had been waiting for someone to make a crystal clear , compostable bag that was large enough for my drawings that I could use. These look great and don't tear easily like many compostable plastic alternatives. with compostable bags I'm able to reduce about 70lbs of plastice dumped into the environment every year-and now without sacrificing quality. I'm very happy.
